Side Pockets .5K BeerRun for KHS

The Side Pockets .5K BeerRun for KHS is a short distance running event held in Wichita, Kansas. The event takes place in the parking lot of the Side Pockets Restaurant & Sports Bar. Participants cover a total distance of 0.5 km, which is approximately 1/3 of a mile or 546 yards.

The event is organized to support the Kansas Humane Society. Participation is limited to 300 individuals. Registration includes several commemorative items and amenities:

Every registered participant receives a limited edition commemorative race t-shirt and a 2026 runner's medal. Following the completion of the distance, participants are provided with two beers or a choice of beverages to re-energize at the finish line.

A lucky draw for various prizes and giveaways is conducted after the run by drawing participant bib numbers. Packet pick-up is arranged at the venue on the day prior to the event.
