Side Pockets .5K BeerRun for KHS
The event is a short 0.5K run hosted at Side Pockets Restaurant & Sports Bar in Wichita, Kansas, that benefits the Kansas Humane Society. Registered participants receive a limited edition Side Pockets Beer Run T shirt, a 2026 finisher medal, and two drink tickets redeemable with presenting sponsors including Coors Banquet, Yuengling Flight, Quirk Hard Seltzers, and Recover Sports Hydration. Sponsors will be on site offering additional giveaways and support.
The organizer published a tiered registration price schedule with date ranges and fees: Early Bird through March 31, 2026 at $30; April 1 to April 30, 2026 at $35; May 1 to May 31, 2026 at $40; and June 1 to June 6, 2026 at $45. There is a $2.80 processing fee per transaction. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the event at Side Pockets.
The course distance is approximately 0.5K, which the organizer describes as roughly one third of a mile and likely to be completed in under 15 minutes. Post race participants may choose beverages at the finish area.
