Shrewsbury Trails 5K
The Shrewsbury Trails 5K takes place at Lake Street Park in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The event is organised by the Shrewsbury Trails Committee, whose mission is to preserve, promote, and protect Shrewsbury’s open spaces in partnership with Town Planning, Parks & Recreation, and Engineering Departments.
The course runs through trees, fields, and bog bridges and includes a variety of surfaces and trail conditions. Participants encounter wide cart paths on a meadow loop, single-track trails along Meadow Brook, heavily forested sections, and visible beaver activity that is shaping the environment. Lake Street Park provides ample parking and a large field for gathering and watching racers.
Registration opens July 18, 2026 and closes on October 3, 2026. Fees listed for the event are $30 for the trail race and the trail walk, and $12 for the Kid Run.
