Shore 2 the Pour Beach Run 2026
Shore 2 the Pour is a community running event in Stratford, Connecticut, hosted by Two Roads Brewing Company on August 22, 2026. The main competitive distance is 3 miles and there is a separate free kids fun run. The paid entry fee for the main event is $45 and includes a 2026 Two Roads race t-shirt, a finisher medal, and two beers. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Audubon Connecticut at Stratford Point. Registration opens May 22 and closes August 22; registering by August 2 guarantees a shirt size.
Course and timing: the route begins on park driveway and town roads, continues with about 0.7 miles on a hard-packed grass path through the Audubon Center, follows the Two Roads Trail (hard-packed grass and some gravel), and finishes after a beach section where runners follow the sand along the water back to the pavilion area. Finish times are recorded by chip and participants receive a medal and an electronic notification of their time. A water stop is located just after the halfway point inside the Audubon grounds; runners are encouraged to carry water.
Logistics and race features: check-in is available the night before at Two Roads (Beer Garden, weather permitting) and on race day at Short Beach pavilion 1. Strollers are permitted but the final beach section includes steps and rocks. The kids fun run is a beachside dash with participation medals and requires adult supervision. A post-race celebration at the pavilion will include music, vendors, beer, and an awards ceremony with overall and age-group prizes, plus special awards for costume and distance traveled.
