Event overview

Shoes 'N Brews 26.2 KM "Metric Marathon" is a point-to-point road run on the Schuylkill River Trail between Conshohocken and Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. The main solo event covers 26.2 km (about 16.28 miles). A two-person relay option splits the course into a first leg of 9 miles and a second leg of 7.2 miles. The finish is located under the Gay Street Bridge in Phoenixville. The race includes a post-race buffet at the Rec Room by Conshohocken Brewing Company; the buffet is included with race registrations and spectator tickets are available for purchase.

Logistics and facilities

The event is limited to 200 participants. Bib pickup is available at the Conshohocken Brewing Company taproom near the starting line. Water stations will be placed at approximately miles 4, 6, 9, 11.5, and 14; the station at mile 9 will offer UCAN gels and hydrate. Restrooms are available via a short detour at the Betzwood parking area (mile 9.5) and at Reynolds Dog Park in Phoenixville (mile 14). A bag drop at the starting area will transport bags to the finish; participants are advised not to include valuables. Shuttle service from Phoenixville back to Conshohocken is offered for an additional fee. Age-group and overall awards are planned, and finishers receive a medal and a race shirt (shirt guarantee applies to registrations by September 12).
