Course, support and logistics
The event is a loop that starts and finishes at Naseby Village Hall and is run clockwise on even years and anti-clockwise on odd years. The course is waymarked but some navigation is required; organisers provide electronic GPX files and a voice navigation app. The ultra route includes multiple surface types and checkpoints: there are five checkpoints with water and snacks. Mandatory kit includes a charged mobile phone, power bank, tracker, at least 1 litre water capacity, survival blanket, waterproof jacket, whistle and long-sleeved top. Free parking is available at the village hall and limited bag storage is offered at the finish (carry-on size limit 56 x 45 x 25 cm). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
