Shine For Her 5K
Shine For Her is the inaugural 5K run and walk taking place on September 26, 2026, at Shirley Clarke Franklin Park, 1660 Johnson Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. The event offers a 5K distance and is organized around participation by youth and adults.
The event aims to cultivate a lasting culture of holistic health and wellness among middle and high school students while engaging the broader community. Every Girl Shines serves as the host organization. The group pairs middle and high school girls with professional women who provide mentorship focused on learning to love, lead, and live with confidence. The mentorship program is presented as a foundation for empowering participants and supporting their personal development.
Divisions and entry fees are stated for a run and walk format: adults age 18 and older $35.00, youth ages 5 to 17 $25.00, and children 0 to 4 free. Registration opens June 23, 2026 and closes September 26, 2026. An awards presentation and a wellness fair are scheduled to follow the race.
