Event Overview
The Shine Bright 5K is a 5-kilometer fun run and walk. It is the third annual edition of this community event. The event is organized by Vienna Adventist Academy (VAA).

Events and Registration
The event offers three participation options:
- Adult (17+), priced at $25.
- Youth (16 & Under), priced at $20.
- Virtual 5K, priced at $20.
Registration for the virtual event ends on April 12, 2026. The standard registration price for the in-person events increases after March 14, 2026. Families can register as a group for a discounted rate.
Participation Details
The event is open to students, families, and community members. It is described as a fun run and walk where participants can run, walk, or support others. T-shirts are included for adult registrants in a family package. Children's shirts in the family package are available for an additional fee. Participants who register before March 31, 2026, are guaranteed a t-shirt; registration after this date does not guarantee a shirt. Participants can select an option to not receive a shirt.
