Derbyshire Dales Trail Run
The Derbyshire Dales Trail Run takes place at Bakewell Showground (DE45 1AH) on Sunday 13th September 2026. The event offers three trail distances:
- 22 km
- 15 km
- 9 km
Routes start on the Monsal Trail and run alongside the River Derwent. The course passes views of Chatsworth House and the village of Edensor, includes a steep descent followed by a short climb into Manners Wood, and finishes back at the showground. Elevation gains are listed as +400 m for the 22 km, +306 m for the 15 km, and +166 m for the 9 km.
Practical details
Each entry includes chip timing, a bib number, water stations, first aid support, encouraging marshals, a finisher medal, finisher goodies, and a personalised certificate. Entry fees shown are £42.50 for the 22 km, £37.50 for the 15 km, and £32.50 for the 9 km. The course is signed with pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with "Caution" signs. Dogs are not allowed. Spectators are welcome.
