Derbyshire Dales Trail Run - Bakewell Showground
The Derbyshire Dales Trail Run takes place at Bakewell Showground in the Peak District and offers three measured trail distances that run along sections of the Monsal Trail and surrounding countryside. Routes follow the River Derwent and pass views toward Chatsworth House and the village of Edensor before moving through rolling fields and Manners Wood.

- 21.5k Half Marathon - 400 m elevation gain
- 15k Trail run - 306 m elevation gain
- 9.1k Trail run - 166 m elevation gain
The event uses chip timing and provides on-course refreshments, water stations and first aid cover. Finishers receive a metal medal, a finisher goodie and a personalised certificate. Marshals are present on course and signage uses pink arrows and tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. The event operates a plastic-free approach at water stations, so participants are asked to use a reusable cup or bottle.
