Derbyshire Dales Trail Run
The Derbyshire Dales Trail Run takes place in the Peak District National Park at Bakewell Showground, Bakewell (DE45 1AH) on Sunday 13th September 2026. The event offers three measured trail distances and varied off-road terrain that includes woodland paths, open trails and rolling countryside.
The routes start on the Monsal Trail and run alongside the River Derwent, with views of Chatsworth House and passage through the village of Edensor. Runners encounter a notable descent followed by a climb into Manners Wood before the finish. The course is marked with pink arrows and pink tape, and hazards and road junctions are signed with caution notices.
Entries include chip timing, a finisher medal, a finisher goodie and a personalised certificate. There is first aid cover, water stations and on course refreshments, and marshals are provided along the route. Spectators are welcome at the event. Dogs are not allowed.
