Shenipsit Striders Summer Fatass : August 15, 2026
The Shenipsit Striders Summer Fatass is an eight hour trail running event held in Tolland, CT, with the start and finish at Crandall's Pavilion. Participants may run as many laps as they wish on a measured loop during the timed period. The course is described as roughly 5K in length and follows trails around the pavilion; course tracks and a GPX file are provided.
Food and social activities are part of the event. Pancakes are served in the morning, and burgers, hot dogs, and drinks are available during the day. The event is organized as a potluck, with attendees able to sign up to bring snacks, desserts, or dishes. The event is free of charge, and a donation jar will be present for those who wish to contribute.
