Seth's Fat Ass 50K
Seth's Fat Ass 50K is a December 12, 2026 running event in Forest Park, Springfield, MA. The course is composed of ten repeats of the Harrier's Snow Storm Classic 5K route and follows much of the Bright Nights route. The course is not closed to traffic, though traffic is expected to be limited, and roads should be clean.
Participants choose how many loops to complete within a seven hour limit; runners may stop after any loop. The event offers multiple entry formats:
- 50K individual entry
- 50K two person relay
- Up to ten 5K loops; stop after any loop
Entry fees are set with early and late prices: individual and relay fees have standard and late registration rates, and online registration is handled through Ultrasignup. Race day registration is available for a stated flat fee payable by cash or card. Registration fees do not include a small parking fee that may apply for parking inside Forest Park.
The start area is in the lot near the baseball fields. Parking is available near the baseball fields and on North Greeting Road. An alternate lot at 245 Park Drive in Longmeadow is outside the park and is roughly a half mile or more walk to the start.
