Sheffield Triathlons & Duathlons 2026
The event takes place at Rother Valley Country Park near Sheffield on 21 June 2026. It features two sprint multisport races set around three lakes and on nearby country roads. The terrain is described as flat and the routes are traffic free with no cut off times.
Race formats include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim | 22km cycle | 5km run
- Sprint Duathlon: 5km run | 22km cycle | 3.5km run
Water temperatures are expected to allow optional wetsuit use; wetsuits are recommended for buoyancy and comfort. A secure transition area will be provided with numbered racking. Competitors must match race and bike numbers to racking spots, display helmets and bike numbers before entering, and show numbers to enter the transition zone and to collect equipment after racing. Small bags or boxes are permitted in transition.
Live chip timing will be used with real time results available during the event. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise such as a buff or bottle, and a snack and drink. An exclusive event T shirt is offered for £12.00. Parking at the venue requires payment at on site ticket machines. Entry prices range from £35.00 to £52.00 depending on category.
