Sheffield Triathlon & Duathlon 2026
The event takes place at Rother Valley Country Park near Sheffield on 21 June 2026. The courses are set around three lakes and along country roads on flat, traffic-free paths. There are no cut-off times.
Live chip timing will be used with real-time results. A secure transition area will be provided; competitors must display matching race and bike numbers, wear helmets visibly, and only competitors may enter the transition zone. Small bags or boxes are permitted in transition, and both bib and bike numbers are required to collect equipment after the race.
Water temperatures are expected to be warm enough for optional wetsuit use; wetsuits are recommended for buoyancy and comfort. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink after the race. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to add for £12.00. Parking on site requires payment at the ticket machines.
Distances for the events:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 22km cycle, 5km run
- Sprint Duathlon: 5km run, 22km cycle, 3.5km run
