Sheffield Triathlon & Duathlon - 20 June 2027
This event takes place at Rother Valley Country Park near Sheffield and is set around three lakes with country roads. The course uses flat, traffic free paths and there are no cut-off times for competitors.
Event formats on the day include individual sprint triathlon, sprint duathlon and relay options. Distances for the individual events are:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim | 22km cycle | 5km run
- Sprint Duathlon: 5km run | 22km cycle | 3.5km run
A secure transition area is provided; race and bike numbers match assigned racking spots, small bags or boxes are permitted, helmets must be visible and bikes numbered before entry, and only competitors may enter transition. After racing, both bib and bike numbers must be shown to collect equipment.
Water temperatures are expected to allow optional wetsuit use; wetsuits are recommended for added buoyancy and comfort. Live chip timing will be in place with real-time results. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An event T shirt is available for an additional £12.50. Parking on site requires payment at ticket machines.
