Sheffield Triathlon and Duathlon - Rother Valley Country Park
This event takes place on 21 June 2026 at Rother Valley Country Park near Sheffield. The programme comprises a sprint triathlon and a sprint duathlon set around three lakes and country roads. The route uses flat, traffic-free paths and there are no cut-off times.
Event distances are:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750m swim, 22km cycle, 5km run
- Sprint Duathlon: 5km run, 22km cycle, 3.5km run
Water temperatures are expected to be warm enough for optional wetsuit use; wetsuits are recommended for added buoyancy and comfort. A secure transition area will be provided with assigned racking spots; race and bike numbers must match racking, helmets must be visible and bikes numbered, and only competitors may enter the transition area. Competitors must show bib and bike numbers to collect equipment after the race.
Live chip timing will provide real-time results during the event. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise such as a buff or bottle, and a snack and drink. An exclusive event T-shirt is available for purchase for £12.00. Route maps are provided for the 22km cycle and the run courses. Parking is available on site via ticket machines and requires payment.
