Sheffield 10K

The Sheffield 10K is a city centre road race staged in partnership with Sheffield City Council on Sunday 27 September 2026. The start line is at Arundel Gate and the route runs through central Sheffield streets. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day.

Services for participants include chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt, and an exclusive medal. There will be water stations on course supplying 330 ml bottles, pacers sponsored by Arla Protein who carry flagged finish times, and baggage storage using the tear-off strip on the race number. Race numbers will not be posted to addresses outside the UK; overseas entrants may collect numbers from the Race Office on event weekend.

An Event Village near the start and finish will offer food and drink for purchase and host partner charities. Medical provision includes roaming first aiders, fixed first aid stations near water stations, and a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start and finish. Toilet facilities will be available around the stadium.

Road closures and junction restrictions are in place across many central streets, with Traffic Regulation Orders suspended for the event and parking suspensions in affected areas. Some car parks may be unavailable before and during the event and vehicles contravening suspensions may be towed. Recycling bins will be provided on course and JogOn trainer drop-off stations will be available near the Race Office. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
