Event details
The Sheffield 10K is staged in partnership with Sheffield City Council and takes place in Sheffield city centre, with the start line at Arundel Gate. The event date is Sunday 27 September 2026. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. The entry package includes chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal, and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt.
On-the-day and practical information
An Event Village will offer food and drink for purchase and host partner charities. Baggage can be dropped at the designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip from the race number. Race numbers will not be posted to addresses outside the UK; overseas participants may collect numbers at the Race Office on event weekend. Race number transfers are not permitted and may lead to disqualification.
Water stations on course will provide 330 ml bottles and recycling bins will be located at each station. Fixed first aid stations will be positioned near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish and roaming first aiders around the Event Village. Toilets will be located around the stadium; improper use of the course (for example urination outside facilities) may result in disqualification.
Pacers with flagged finish times will be on course, sponsored by Arla Protein. MarathonPhotos will take event photographs for purchase. Post-race massage will be available in the Event Village, provided by Thornbury Hospital. JogOn trainer drop-off stations will be next to the Race Office as part of sustainability measures.
