Event overview
The Sheffield Mutual Sheffield 10K is a city-centre road race in Sheffield, staged in partnership with Sheffield City Council. The event takes place on Sunday 27 September 2026 with a start line at Arundel Gate. The course distance is 10K. Entrants must be 15 years or older on event day.
On-the-day information and logistics
The event includes an Event Village with food and drink vendors and partner charities. Race inclusions listed are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt, and an exclusive medal. Baggage must be left in the designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip from the race number. Race numbers will not be posted to non-UK addresses; overseas entrants may collect numbers from the Race Office on the weekend.
Water stations on course will supply 330 ml bottles and recycling bins will be provided at each water station. Pacers, sponsored by Arla Protein, will carry flags showing target finish times. Toilets are located around the stadium. Medical cover includes fixed first aid stations near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, and roaming first aiders. MarathonPhotos will take event photographs that can be purchased afterwards. Results will be published on the event website after the race. A post-race sports massage is provided in the Event Village by Thornbury Hospital (Part of Circle Health Group). Guidance allows bone-conducting headphones with volume kept low.
