Sheffield 10K - Event overview
The Sheffield 10K is a road race staged in partnership with Sheffield City Council in the heart of Sheffield. The event takes place on Sunday 27 September 2026 and starts from Arundel Gate. The race distance is 10 km.
Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day. The organiser asks participants with specific requirements to make contact in advance. Race numbers and related instructions will be provided closer to the event; race numbers are not posted to addresses outside the UK and can be collected from the Race Office on event weekend.
Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal, and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. Water stations will supply 330 ml bottles on course and recycling bins will be available at each station. Pacers with flags indicating target finish times will be present on the course.
Onsite facilities include an Event Village with food and drink for purchase, partner charities, baggage store, toilets around the stadium, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, and roaming first aiders. Discarded clothing from the start area will be collected for donation unless handed into the baggage store.
