Sheffield 10K : 27 September 2026
The Sheffield 10K is a city centre road race staged in partnership with Sheffield City Council. The route starts at Arundel Gate and covers a 10 km distance through central Sheffield on Sunday 27 September 2026.
Entrants must be 15 years or older on the day of the event. The organiser requests contact in advance from participants with specific requirements. Race numbers are not posted to addresses outside the UK; overseas participants may collect numbers from the Race Office on event weekend and Race Office opening hours will be published in the week before the event.
Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher goody bag, the option to pre-order a finisher T-shirt, and an exclusive finisher medal. Event facilities include an Event Village with food and drink for purchase and charity stands, a baggage store that requires the tear-off strip from the race number, and a post-race recovery area with sports massage.
On-course support comprises 330 ml water stations with recycling bins, fixed first aid stations near some water stations, roaming first aiders, and a first aid unit near the start and finish. Pacers with flags sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course. Toilets are located around the stadium and the organiser enforces a zero-tolerance policy for urination outside facilities.
Travel options to the city include car, bus, rail and bike. A number of city centre car parks are listed and some car parks may not be available before and during the event. The organiser promotes recycling on course and offers trainer drop-off stations near the Race Office for reuse or recycling.
