Sheffield 10K
The Sheffield 10K is a road race held in Sheffield city centre on Sunday 27 September 2026, staged in partnership with Sheffield City Council. The event takes place around Arundel Gate and is set in South Yorkshire’s Steel City. Thousands of people took part in 2023.
Key event inclusions are chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag, an exclusive medal and an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. Entry requirements state entrants must be 15 years or over on event day; the organiser encourages participants with specific requirements to contact them in advance. Race numbers will not be posted to addresses outside the UK; overseas participants can collect numbers from the Race Office on the event weekend. Address changes are accepted up to six weeks before the event.
On-course support includes water stations supplying 330 ml bottles and recycling bins at each station, pacers carrying flags with target finish times sponsored by Arla Protein, fixed first aid stations near water stops, a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start and finish and roaming first aiders. Toilets will be provided around the stadium. An Event Village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Race photography is provided by MarathonPhotos and results are published on the organiser’s results section after the event. A post-race sports massage is available in the Event Village.
