The Race

The Sheetz-to-Sheetz Trail Run is a 14-mile untimed point-to-point run. It begins at one Sheetz convenience store and finishes at another Sheetz store. The event benefits local children's charities and other local causes.

Course and Aid Stations

The route primarily follows the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail (DRHT). This is a flat, scenic rails-to-trails path. There are four themed aid stations along the route, offering snacks such as pie, s'mores, Peeps, and soft pretzels. The course starts in King George, Virginia.

Logistics and Swag

This is a point-to-point event. Shuttle buses transport runners from the finish area to the start line. Parking is available at a designated shopping center near the finish. Finishers receive an insulated Sheetz travel mug, a custom sweat towel, a reusable HydraPak SpeedCup, a drawstring bag, and a voucher for Sheetz food and drink. The race operates as a completely cupless event.

Awards and Purpose

The run is untimed, but awards are given to the top overall and top Masters (50+) male and female finishers. Proceeds support Sheetz For the Kidz and other local charities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
