Event Overview
The She Slays 5K is the third annual edition of this event, presented by the Pardee Hospital Foundation and Hunter Subaru. It is scheduled for a Saturday in April in Hendersonville, North Carolina, at the Pardee Cancer Center on 6th Avenue West.
Distances and Participation
The event offers a single 5K distance. Registration is open for both an in-person race and a virtual option where participants can run on their own time and course. Participants under 12 years old receive a discounted registration rate. An award ceremony is scheduled to take place after the race.
Registration and Inclusions
Registration includes a finisher medal and complimentary race photos. A free event t-shirt is provided to those who register by a late March deadline; after that date, shirts are available for purchase while supplies last.
Supporting Cause
The event is held in partnership with the Pardee Hospital Foundation's Women Helping Women initiative. It aims to celebrate women's strength and support local women in Hendersonville who are fighting cancer. Participants can also purchase a "Memory Mile" yard sign to honor someone affected by cancer, with proceeds benefiting the foundation.
