Sharsheret West Coast Dash
Sharsheret will hold the 5th Annual West Coast Dash at Dockweiler Beach in Playa del Rey, CA, on October 25, 2026. The event supports Sharsheret's breast cancer and ovarian cancer work and includes in-person and virtual participation options.
The in-person program offers multiple distances and an event festival on the beach. Race entry tickets for the 5K and 10K include a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Both the 5K and 10K will be chip timed. The Family Fun Race is a 1K open to ages 1 and up and also includes a race t-shirt and medal. A virtual race option is available and virtual race tickets purchased by October 7 will receive a race t-shirt by mail. Early bird packet pick-up is scheduled for October 22 with locations to be announced.
Ticket prices listed for this edition include a 5K entry at $70, a 10K entry at $80, a Family Fun Race entry at $36, and a Virtual Race entry at $36. Prices do not include processing fees and may increase periodically through October 16. A suggested donation level and higher donor tiers are noted for fundraising purposes; contributions excluding the value of race entry tickets are tax deductible.
Fundraising recognitions and awards will be given in categories such as top fundraising teams and best race day costumes.
