Malibu Moves weekend at Zuma Beach

Malibu Moves takes place at Zuma Beach in Malibu, California on October 24 and 25, 2026. The event program includes multiple in-person distances, charity entry options, and virtual race options with mailed race packets for finishers.

The half marathon follows a course along the Pacific Coast Highway with ocean views. The half marathon has a 4 hour time limit (about 18 minutes per mile). Pace groups are listed from 1:30 to 4:00.

Distances offered include:

• Half Marathon (13.1 Miles), scenic Pacific Coast Highway course, 4 hour time limit
• 10K, new distance traversing the Pacific Coast Highway with ocean views
• 5K, flat loop around Zuma Beach with scenic ocean and beach views
• 1 Mile Zuma Dash, short in-person race option
• 1K Kids Run, safe flat course for children, finishers receive a medal
• Virtual races, race packet including medal and shirt shipped after result submission

Several charity entries are available with no upfront registration fee and a required fundraising commitment of $500. Charity participants receive a special charity bib, VIP package valued at $120, unlimited servings in the beer garden, race day packet pick-up, recognition on a Charity Wall, fundraising badges, and awards for top fundraisers.
