SHANES CASTLE
The event at Shanes Castle Estate in County Antrim on 25 October 2026 offers three distances held on the same looped route. All courses use the same marked circuit through the estate, with a mix of gravel and tarmac surfaces and a virtually traffic free setting. The 10 km loop has a total ascent of 58 meters.
The event will be chip timed and features parking on the grounds and outside the estate. Toilets will be available and all finishers receive a bespoke medal and water. The marathon has a cut off time of 7 hours. Courses are fully marked with arrows and participants do not need to use GPX or other devices to follow the route.
