About the race
The Shane Clark Memorial Run 5K is scheduled for March 14, 2027, at Midland Greenway, 682 Grove Street, Gainesville, GA 30501. The event offers an in-person 5K run/walk and a Phantom virtual race option. Both event options have an entry fee of $35.00 and share a common registration open date.
Registration opens on September 16, 2026. In-person 5K registrations must be completed by March 1, 2027 to guarantee a race t-shirt in the selected size; registrations after that date receive a shirt while supplies last. The Phantom virtual option has a later registration close date.
Awards are given by category. Each award winner receives a medal and a $10 gift certificate to Big Peach Running Co. - Braselton. Categories include overall male and female, masters male and female, and top three male and female finishers in age groups 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.
Parking is available at the Gainesville Square Parking Deck or at the Gainesville Government Center on Gordon Avenue and Banks Street. Race day packet pick-up is provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
