Shamrockin' Run (Austin, MN)
The Shamrockin' Run is the 12th annual running and walk event held in Austin, Minnesota on April 11, 2026. The event is sponsored by the Pacelli Booster Club and references the school mascot, the Shamrock. It is organized around a paved course that goes through the city.
The event program includes:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
- Virtual 5K
Early in-person entries receive a t-shirt and a goodie bag. The in-person 5K is chip timed. Virtual 5K registrants are mailed a race t-shirt and bib to wear while completing a 5K where they live.
Packet pick-up is available Friday, April 10 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Pacelli Catholic Schools, and also begins at 8:30 AM on race day. Registrations received by March 30 are encouraged to guarantee a t-shirt and to receive discount pricing.
Awards for the in-person 5K are presented immediately following the race to the top three finishers, male and female, in each age category. The event description notes family friendly participation and welcomes a range of ages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
