Darren Dash 15 : Austin, MN

Darren Dash 15 is the 15th annual running event held on July 3, 2026, at Horace Austin Park in Austin, Minnesota. The event includes a 5K race that starts and finishes at the park located at 600 N Main Street.

The event honors the life of an Austin native and running enthusiast (1973–2011). The first 150 registrants receive a T-shirt and an official event head band. Water stops are available on course and post-race refreshments are provided for participants.

Proceeds support a scholarship fund for Austin High School and Pacelli Cross Country runners and programs focused on improving mental and physical health in the community. To date, the event has awarded over $41,000 in scholarships.
