Shamrock Run : Omaha

The Shamrock Run takes place on March 14, 2026 in Aksarben Village, Omaha. The event includes adult and youth 5 kilometer options and uses the Keystone Trail adjacent to Little Papillion Creek. The run starts and ends on the Keystone Trail near Mercy Road and proceeds south to a turnaround before returning to the finish.

Backlot Taphouse serves as the event check in point and the site for post race activities, awards, and giveaways. All participants are eligible for giveaways and prizes; winners must be present to receive awards. The first 100 registered participants receive either a T shirt or a beanie. Adults receive a T shirt or beanie and youth entries receive a beanie. Top male and female finishers in the timed event will receive a Shamrock Run hoodie.

Runners and walkers may choose timed or untimed entry options. The event notes a manual timing process when participant numbers are low. Aksarben Village is described as an active local hub with restaurants, bars, outdoor events, and music on weekends, including St Patrick's Weekend.
