Event Information

The Shamrock Run takes place in Billings, Montana on March 15, 2026. The event is held at Pioneer Park and features two events: a SHAMROCK RUN 5K and a KIDS FUN RUN 1 MILE.

Distances:

SHAMROCK RUN 5K: A chip-timed race on a USATF certified course with streets closed to traffic. Discounted entry is available for runners ages 8 to 18.
KIDS FUN RUN 1 MILE: A free, untimed run for kids 12 and under. Parents are welcome to join.

The event kicks off the spring racing season and celebrates St. Patrick's Day. A beer garden will be available for participants aged 21 and over. Awards will be given to the top three overall finishers and the top three in each 5-year age group for the 5K. Proceeds benefit the local running community.
