Shamrock N' Roll 5K
The Shamrock N' Roll 5K is a 5K running event with a St. Patrick's Day theme. It takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The starting and finishing point is outside the Stone Pony at 913 Ocean Ave N.
All participants receive a leprechaun suit. The course is closed to traffic and results are chip-timed. The event includes a live performance from Brian Kirk & the Jirks at the Stone Pony after the race; this part of the event is for ages 21 and over. Other after-parties may be announced.
A water station is located on 4th Avenue, approximately halfway through the course. The course has a 90-minute time limit. Participants can walk the course. Strollers are permitted on the course, but dogs are not allowed on the running route. Registration is non-refundable, but transfers to another runner are possible.
A portion of the event's proceeds is donated to the Asbury Park Rodeo For Recreation fund, which supports youth summer camps and recreation programs in the city. The event is organized by Beacon Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
