Sham Rock and a Hard Place 5K
The Sham Rock and a Hard Place 5K takes place on March 22, 2026 at the Passaic County Technical Institute campus on 45 Reinhardt Road in Wayne, New Jersey. The course is described as being on the campus grounds, which is closed to traffic. The terrain is noted to have varying degrees of elevation and is "simply not flat."
Participants can register for the 5K run or walk. The registration price increases after March 6, 2026. Shirts are available based on supply.
The event will provide refreshments including hot bagels, fruit, hot chocolate, and bottled water. Age group awards will be given for categories from 19 & Under to 90+, with first, second, and third places for men and women. There is an indoor area near the start and finish line for participants to gather.
