Event Overview
Shake Your Shamrock is a St. Patrick's Day themed run in Centerville, Minnesota. The event offers two distances on paved trails described as flat and fast. An after-party takes place at Kelly's Korner Bar.
Race Distances
Participants can choose between two distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 7K (4.35 miles)
Course and Logistics
The course is on paved trails. Free parking is available near the start line. Walkers, participants with strollers, and leashed dogs are allowed on the course. The event uses chip timing, and a professional photographer provides free photos.
Packet pickup occurs on race morning at Kelly's Korner Bar before the race start. Packets include a race bib, timing chip, and may contain an event shirt, a themed necklace, a gold chocolate coin, and a finisher medal.
Additional Features
All finishers receive a custom medal that also functions as a bottle opener. The registration includes a themed necklace and a gold candy coin. An awards ceremony is held after the race.
Awards
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers. Age group awards are presented to the top three male and female participants in each category. Award winners must be present to receive their prize. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
