Pacing is not allowed. Runners must complete each full lap within the event time limit to receive credit.

Timing and support Each lap is recorded with a bibtag timing chip and real-time lap splits are displayed on a screen at the start/finish. Fully stocked aid stations are placed every mile and provide fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, water, and Skratch electrolyte drink. The event operates a cupless policy; participants are asked to bring reusable, nonbreakable containers. Hydrapak SpeedCups are available for purchase at check-in.
