Sevenoaks Circular Challenge

50th Sevenoaks Circular : Sunday 14 March 2027
The Sevenoaks Circular is an organised challenge walk run by the Kent group of the Long Distance Walkers Association. The event offers three new routes across West Kent and uses West Heath School, Ashgrove Road, Sevenoaks TN13 1SR as the event base; parking is in the school car park as directed by marshals.

- 14 miles
The 30 mile route includes 4200 ft of ascent and must be completed within an 11 hour time limit. Checkpoints are indoors and provide tea, coffee and cold snacks; hot food is available at the finish. The entry fee includes refreshments at the start, food and drinks at all checkpoints, and hot food at the finish, with £1.50 from each entry donated to the school. Entry is limited to 225 and entries open on Thursday 1 October 2026; there are no entries on the day.
Practical requirements and notes: dogs are not permitted on site due to school rules; entrants must carry their own mug as none will be supplied, although Kent group mugs will be for sale on the day. Participants are advised to wear suitable footwear and clothing and to carry a printed route description, maps and a compass. Route descriptions and GPX files will be available from the Kent Group webpage about a week before the event. The recommended map is OS Explorer 147.
