Sevenoaks Circular Challenge
The event offers three circular routes that use new sections this year and pass views of the North Downs and the Greensand Way. This is the 50th running of the Sevenoaks Circular Challenge and entry is limited to 225 participants. Entries open on 1 October 2026 and close on 2 March 2027.
Distances:
- 30 miles: 4200 ft of ascent, must be completed within 11 hours.
- 20 miles
- 14 miles
All checkpoints are indoors and provide tea, coffee and cold snacks, with hot food available at the finish. The entry fee includes refreshments at the start, food and drinks at checkpoints, and hot food at the finish; £1.50 from each entry is donated to the hosting school. Fees vary by distance and by LDWA membership status.
The event uses West Heath School on Ashgrove Road, Sevenoaks, TN13 1SR for the event base and parking is in the school car park as directed by marshals. Dogs are not permitted on site due to school ground rules. Participants must carry a printed route description, maps and a compass; the OS Explorer 147 map covers the area. Route descriptions and GPX files will be made available on the Kent group webpage in the week before the event.
