Barking Road Runners - Phipps 5k

Barking Road Runners Phipps 5K (ELVIS)

This event is a club 5 km race held as part of the East London FiVes Interclub Series ELVIS on 31 August 2026 at Barking Park, Longbridge Road, Barking, Essex IG11 8TA. The course consists of two laps on asphalt paths and uses the same route as Barking parkrun. The course will be signed and marshalled. Headphones are allowed but participants should ensure they can hear marshals and be aware of their surroundings.

Distances

• 5 km two-lap main race on asphalt paths
• 2 km free-to-enter fun run for under 15s if the weather is dry

Prizes are awarded to the first three individual males and females, age-category winners in veteran male and female groups (VM40, VM50, VM60, VM70 and VF40, VF50, VF60, VF70), and male and female team prizes for the fastest three scoring runners. Individuals who place in the overall top three are excluded from age-category prizes. Results will be published on the club website and uploaded to Power of 10.
