Sertoma Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
The Sertoma Turkey Trot is a community 5K run/walk held on November 26, 2026, at 777 Winners Circle in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The event offers a 5K (3.2 miles) distance and welcomes walkers and runners of all ages.
Online registration is required and remains open through race day; there is no in-person registration on the day of the event. The registration fee is $40. Participants who register before November 6 will receive a race T-shirt.
The course starts and finishes at the Casino and leaves the parking lot to travel north on Waterworks Road. The route is described as well marked and flat with views. Entrants may park in the Casino parking lot in designated areas.
All participants receive finisher medals. Trophies are awarded to the overall male and female winners. Place medals are given to the top three finishers in each age division. Additional awards include medals for creative holiday costumes: one individual, one family, and one pet. Proceeds from the event support Noyes Home for Children, the YMCA of St. Joseph, and Sertoma.
Timing and event services are provided by Show Me Running Company; participants are timed with shoe tags. Finish photos and video are recorded and made available online, and results are published electronically after the race. A results kiosk may be available subject to space and power.
