The 5K course is not certified and measures around 3 miles. Runners and walkers are welcome. There is no water stop on the course. Awards are given for overall male and female places 1-3, overall masters male and female 1 place, and age-group awards (male and female) for 0-10 through 80-up in standard 5-year bands.
Registration is available only online and closes Sunday, May 3 at 6:00am. Event pricing listed: 5K $40, Spider Monkey Mile $30, Jaguar Kids Shuffle $0; some prices increase on specified dates. Packet pickup is scheduled at Señor Frogs on Saturday, May 2 (afternoon) and Sunday, May 3 (morning). Packet pickup offers a 20% off food (no alcohol) purchase. Restrooms are inside Señor Frogs. Parking is available in surrounding Broadway at the Beach lots.
Notes on equipment and animals: animals are not allowed on course except ADA-recognized service animals; wheeled devices like baby strollers, skate boards, roller blades, and unauthorized bicycles are not permitted.
