Semper Fi 5k, 10k & 1M : St Clair Brooks Park
The Semper Fi 5k, 10k and one-mile event takes place at St Clair Brooks Park in Falmouth, VA. Points from these races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series and toward the Summer Series. The event benefits Semper Fi & America’s Fund and offers a virtual race option. Walkers and strollers are welcome.
Distances
- 5k course, out-and-back once.
- 10k course, repeats the 5k route.
- 1 mile event.
The course is paved and described as fairly flat with minimal hills and a section of gravel. The event is chip timed and participants receive a finisher’s medal and a technical (Drifit) event shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before July 8; additional shirts may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis.
Water stations are placed along the courses; Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located near the parking lot. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered; registrants should allow time to check in. Live results are posted online with a QR code at the event and final results with series points are posted after the race.
The Back of the Pack (BOTP) is a series for runners who average slower than the listed BOTP time. Awards are given overall and by age group. Photos and race updates are posted after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
