Semerwater Stomp

Website

Semerwater Stomp is a 16.4 km (10.2 mile) trail race in Semerwater, Raydale, North Yorkshire, and the finale of DalesRunner’s short course series. The route starts with DR40 runners, offering Semerwater views, then heads to Stalling Busk, crosses a ford to Marsett, and climbs Wether Fell. After a short stretch along a Roman road, it joins the DR40 circuit around Weather Fell and descends toward Semerwater.

The course is fully marked on hard-packed paths with a brief road section and grassy trods. Aid stations provide water and nutrition; plastic cups aren’t used. Mandatory kit includes waterproofs, hat, gloves, emergency blanket, water, emergency food, and a charged phone.

Post-race soup, cake and drinks await. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
