Seize the Day Warrior Walk + 5K - Baton Rouge
Seize the Day in Baton Rouge is organized by Epilepsy Alliance Louisiana, a statewide organization that provides services, education, and advocacy for people living with epilepsy. The event raises funds to support programs and services for individuals affected by seizures.
The Baton Rouge program includes multiple participation options:
- Warrior Walk: 1 mile walk only, untimed.
- 5K Run/Walk: 3.1 miles, timed.
- Virtual 5K: 3.1 miles, remote participation with a time reporting requirement.
The event venue is at 6400 Perkins Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70808. Registration opens on November 1, 2026 and closes on January 1, 2027. Published registration fees are $15.00 for the Warrior Walk, $30.00 for the in-person 5K, and $15.00 for the Virtual 5K.
This is presented as the 23rd annual Seize the Day event. Baton Rouge will host both the Warrior Walk and the 5K, while other Louisiana cities will host the Warrior Walk only.
