About the race
Seize the Day London is the 13th annual fundraiser presented by Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario at Graham Family Eco Park in Arva, Ontario. Funds raised support programs and services for individuals living with epilepsy, their families, and communities across Southwestern Ontario.
The event features in-person and virtual participation options. In person, participants follow a trail in a private park near Clarke and Medway Road; portable washrooms are available on site. Distances offered:
- 5K run: four laps of the trail.
- 2.5K walk: two laps of the trail.
A virtual run or walk is available from September 26 to 28; participants may complete the distance from any location and may walk, run, or use a wheelchair or stroller. Virtual participation is free.
Registration details include reduced advance pricing and an at-event price, with online registration processed through Race Roster. In-person participation is free for children under 12 and registration fees apply per team member. There will be a BBQ celebration and prize draw after the run and walk. Organizers are not providing new Seize the Day T-shirts this year and request participants wear purple or previous event shirts.
