13th Annual Seize the Day - London
This event takes place on September 27, 2026 at Graham Family Eco Park in Arva, Ontario. Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario organizes the fundraiser to support programs and services for people living with epilepsy and their families across Southwestern Ontario.
The course uses loops on the park trail. Distances offered:
- 2.5 km walk
- 5 km run
2.5 km walkers complete two laps of the trail; 5 km runners complete four laps. Portable washrooms will be available on site. Organizers will not provide Seize the Day T-shirts this year and encourage participants to wear purple or previous event shirts.
A virtual run/walk option is available. Virtual participants can complete the 2.5 km or 5 km between September 26 and 28. Virtual participation is free.
In-person and online registration options are available; in-person participation is free for children 12 and under. Offline pledge forms and donation options are supported, and cheques should be made payable to Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario. The event includes a barbecue and prize presentation after the run and walk, and provides resources such as a beginner 5K training plan and fundraising guides.
