13th Annual Seize the Day - London
Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario presents the 13th annual Seize the Day fundraiser at Graham Family Eco Park in Arva, ON. Funds raised support programs and services for people living with epilepsy, their families, and communities across Southwestern Ontario.
The event takes place in a private park near Clarke and Medway Road. Portable washrooms will be available on site. A barbecue and prizes follow the run and walk. There will be no official Seize the Day T-shirts this year; participants are asked to wear purple or previous Seize the Day shirts.
Event distances:
- 5 km run (four laps of the trail)
- 2.5 km walk (two laps of the trail)
A virtual run/walk option allows participation from any location. Virtual participants may walk, run, or use a wheelchair or stroller, create their own route, and have from September 26 to 28 to complete a 2.5K or 5K. Participants can download an "I'm Walking For" sign, submit their results, and share photos on social media.
Online registration includes event fees. Advance and on-site registration options are offered; virtual participation is free. In-person participation is free for children under 12. Registration fees apply per team member. Offline donations are accepted as cash or cheque made payable to Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario; a pledge form with a readable mailing address is required for tax receipts.
