Secret City Half Marathon and 5K

The half marathon route begins at the Melton Lake Park peninsula, follows the lake shoreline, passes by an operational quarry, continues along a tree-lined private road, and winds through Oak Ridge before finishing along the water's edge at the peninsula. The half marathon course is USATF certified, certification number TN15066MS.
The 5K route also starts and finishes at the Melton Lake Park peninsula. It follows the water's edge along Melton Lake to Elza Gate Park, then doubles back along the walking trail to return to the peninsula. The 5K course is USATF certified, certification number TN15077MS.
Packet pick up is available Thursday, November 12 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, 1400 Oak Ridge Turnpike, and on race morning on site from 7:30 to 8:45 am. Virtual participants may complete their run between November 14 and 28 and will receive race items by mail after November 28.
