Second Chance 5K Mission Run

The Second Chance 5K Mission Run takes place in Cartersville on April 4, 2026, returning for its 12th edition. The event is mission and family focused, with the start line located in the Village of Cartersville. The traditional 5K route runs through the village.

The program includes a kids fun run for children age 10 and younger. Participants in that age group may register for both the kids mile run and the 5K; registration in both events is required to place in either race. Proceeds from the event will benefit the missions of Cartersville Baptist Church, including support for the church youth group and missionaries.
