Sea Rim Striders FREE Summer Run/Walk Series #6, Lumberton
Sea Rim Striders hosts a free 5K run/walk at 1300 FM 421 in Lumberton, TX as part of the 2026 Summer Series. The event is open to the public and does not include event shirts, timing, finisher medals, or race bibs.
All participants who will be on course must sign a waiver via pre registration; spectators do not need a waiver. Registrants receive a wristband that must be worn while at the race site. Wristbands are distributed on site before the event. An automatic confirmation email is typically sent shortly after registering.
Course and safety notes: not all Summer Series locations are closed to the public, so participants should be aware of motorists and non participating pedestrians and cyclists. Adequate water stops are provided on course. EMS and trained individuals will be on standby for basic first aid and medical needs. The use of headphones or earphones is discouraged to help participants remain alert.
Equipment and conduct: wear proper running shoes and sun protection. Leave pets at home; service animals are welcome. Strollers are highly discouraged per RRCA guidelines and require a separate stroller waiver if used. Only children on foot or in strollers are allowed on course; no bikes, skates, skateboards, scooters, or other rolling toys are permitted. Sponsor tables will be present and volunteers and volunteer board members help operate the series. Updates are posted to the event Facebook page.
