Sea Rim Striders FREE Summer Run/Walk Series #5 : Claiborne West Park
This community event on June 29, 2026 offers a free, public 5K run/walk at Claiborne West Park in Vidor, TX. Registration is required and each participant who will be on the course must complete a signed waiver via pre-registration; spectators are exempt.
Participants will receive wristbands that must be worn while at the race site. Because these are free events, there will be no event shirts, formal timing, finisher medals, awards, or race bibs. Sponsor tables and volunteer staff will be present during the event.
The course is not closed at every location, so participants should remain alert for motorists and for other runners, walkers, and bicyclists who are not part of the event. Adequate water stops are provided on course. Service animals are permitted; other pets should remain at home.
Strollers are highly discouraged and require a separate stroller waiver if used. Children may participate on foot or in a stroller only; bicycles, skates, skateboards, scooters, and other rolling toys are not allowed on course. Use of headphones is discouraged to maintain awareness. EMS and trained individuals will be on standby. Bike marshals and volunteers are requested to assist with event support.
