Sea Rim Striders FREE Fall 5K and Kids K
Sea Rim Striders presents a free, public community running event offering two course options: a Kids K and a 5K. Registration is free and requires a signed waiver for every participant who will be on course; spectators do not need a waiver. All registrants receive a wristband that must be worn while at the race site. There are no event shirts, timing, finisher medals, or race bibs for free SRS events.
The event operates on open roads, so participants should remain alert for regular traffic and for other runners, walkers, and bicyclists who are not part of the event. Course safety measures include adequate water stops and trained EMS personnel or first aid responders on standby. Participants are asked to follow directions from SRS volunteers and to keep to the right side of the course unless passing.
Strollers are highly discouraged as an added liability; registrants who plan to use a stroller must indicate that during registration and complete a separate stroller waiver. Only children on foot or in strollers are allowed on the active course; no bikes, skates, skateboards, scooters, or similar rolling devices are permitted. Pets should be left at home, though service animals are welcomed. The use of headphones is discouraged so participants can remain aware of their surroundings.
