Scurry Around the Helix 10km and 1 mile Fun Run
The event takes place at Helix Park, Falkirk, on 25 April 2026. It features a mainly tarmac or hard packed and relatively flat 10 km route with only about 75 ft of total ascent and descent. The 10 km course starts on the Helix grounds, passes the Kelpies, loops through the Cobblebrae community woodland, skirts the River Carron, and returns to the Helix Great Lawn.

- 1 mile fun run - clockwise circuit of the Helix Lawn and Helix Lagoon.
The 10 km has a minimum age of 15 years on race day and limited entries. The 10 km is chip timed; all 10 km finishers receive a race medal, a race memento, a tribe bar, and will be offered Active Root and water at the finish. The fun run is not timed; children taking part receive a fun run medal, a memento, and snacks. Prizes are awarded for the 10 km only to the first three male and female finishers and the first O40 male and female, with roll down where applicable.
Practical details include race number issue at registration, a requirement to record an emergency contact on the race number, first aid at start and finish areas, signposted routes and marshals at key junctions, and a parking area at Forth Valley College on Grangemouth Road. Dogs are not permitted for Canicross; run buggies are allowed in the 10 km with location-based restrictions. Refund and withdrawal conditions apply depending on timing before the event.
