Scrimshire's Scramble takes place on Sunday, 1 March 2026 at North Leverton Windmill, Mill Lane, North Leverton with Habblesthorpe, Retford, Nottinghamshire DN22 0BA. The event is community-led and returns for a second year. It is run as a not-for-profit event by volunteers, with proceeds and donations used to support the 212 year old corn-mill.

Course and entry details

The off-road trail uses country lanes, byways and public footpaths with a mixture of soft, muddy sections and firmer lanes offering views across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Lincolnshire. All finishers receive a bag of bread flour milled at the windmill, a sustainable medal and a jar of local honey.
