Scribners Mill 5k
The Scribners Mill 5k, also known as the Crooked River 5k, is a trail running event held in Harrison, Maine. The course serves as an introduction to trail running, taking participants through the Crooked River Forest. The route features raw, freshly cut trails that pass through stands of tall red pines and offer views of the historic Crooked River.
The race starts and finishes at Scribner's Mill, which is a historic sawmill and homestead site located directly on the riverbanks. As part of a larger regional race series, the event supports land conservation and public access to the outdoors in the Lakes Region.
