Scribners Mill 5k
The Scribners Mill 5k is a trail race presented as part of the Loon Echo Race Series. Proceeds benefit Loon Echo Land Trust, a Bridgton based nonprofit that conserves land, protects public access to the outdoors, and builds and maintains trails in the Lakes Region.
The route runs down to the historic Crooked River and uses trails within the Crooked River Forest. The course includes recently cut singletrack through stands of tall red pine and sections with scenic river views. The race starts and finishes at Scribners Mill, a historic sawmill and homestead located on the Crooked River in Harrison, Maine.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, July 26th, at the Scribners Mill location on Scribners Mills Road in Harrison. Entry price listed in the event materials is $25. Bib pick up is available on race morning from 7:00 to 8:45 am. Walk in registrations are accepted the day of the race and are limited to cash or Venmo payment.
