Scouting America Troop 597 - 3rd Annual Scout Fest
Scouting America Troop 597 hosts Scout Fest on May 22, 2027 at Amity Community Park, 1967 Weavertown Rd, Douglassville, Pennsylvania. The event combines a timed 5K, a 1.5 mile walk, and a community festival with food trucks and family activities.

The 5K course uses two figure eight loops on the Amity Community Park Trail. The walk follows a single figure eight loop. Water stations and course signage with stewards are provided along the route. Timing is provided for the 5K and finishers receive a finisher medal and an official Scout Fest t shirt in adult sizes S to XXL. Awards for the 5K include overall top three men and women and top male and female in age groups 18 and under, 19 to 34, 35 to 49, and 50 plus.
Entry fees vary by event and registration period. Early registration before April 22 includes a guaranteed t shirt and timing. A festival only option is offered for a lower fee and includes access to inflatables, a giant slide, carnival games, and a community bake sale.
