Scheduled for October 2026 at Warrior Park on Scott Air Force Base, this memorial run offers two course options and supports memory care services.

Registration opens on August 19, 2026 and closes on September 29, 2026. The listed registration fee is $30. The first 25 registrants receive an official race shirt and a challenge coin. Packet pick up is available before the race.
The event is organized to benefit the memory care wing at the Air Force Enlisted Village assisted living residence, Hawthorn House, where military widows, retirees, veterans, and family members with Alzheimer’s and dementia reside. Funds raised from the event provide care and support for those residents.
Participants may create fundraisers through the Extra Mile Challenge; top fundraisers receive recognition. Participants who commit to fundraising $109 for the Air Force Enlisted Village may receive a refund of up to their registration costs.
The run honors the ninth Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, whose leadership contributed to development at the Air Force Enlisted Village and to Hawthorn House. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
