Scone Palace Trail Runs 2026
The Scone Palace Trail Runs take place in the historic grounds of Scone Palace in Perth. This event offers participants the opportunity to run through one of Scotland's well-known historical settings. The course transitions through the palace grounds, and participants in the longer distance also complete a lap of the Perth Racecourse.
The event features two primary running distances:
- 5 km Trail Run (minimum age 11)
- 10 km Trail Run (minimum age 15)
The event is canicross friendly, allowing runners to participate with one controlled dog. All participants will have their times recorded via a live chip timing system. In addition to the trail runs, the venue also hosts sprint and standard distance duathlons on the same date.
Facilities at the site include on-site parking available for a small fee per vehicle. For navigation, the location is situated in Perth with specific access directed toward the Perth Racecourse signage.
Participants reaching the finish line receive a commemorative medal, event merchandise, and refreshments including a drink and a snack. While an event t-shirt is not included in the standard entry, it is available as an optional purchase during the registration process.
