SCONE PALACE DUATHLONS
The event takes place at Scone Palace in Perth and combines trail running inside the palace estate with road cycling on country roads through the surrounding Perthshire countryside. Run sections use firm trail paths within the estate; cycle sections use open country roads.
Two duathlon distances are offered:
- Sprint: Run 5 km, Cycle 19 km, Run 2.5 km
- Standard: Run 10 km, Cycle 38 km, Run 5 km
A secure transition area is provided for competitors only. Race number and bike number correspond to racking spots. Small bags or boxes are permitted inside transition. The bike number must be attached and the helmet visible before entering transition. Bib and bike numbers will be checked before exiting transition.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and snack. An exclusive event T shirt is available to purchase for £14. On-site parking is available at £3 per vehicle. Entry fees are listed between £35 and £40 depending on the distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
