The event is a duathlon held at Scone Palace, Perth, PH2 6BD. Runs take place on firm trail paths inside the palace estate and the cycle routes use open country roads around the area. What3words location is ///drive.conquest.darts.
Event distances are offered in two formats:
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5 km, Cycle 19 km, Run 2.5 km
- Standard Duathlon: Run 10 km, Cycle 38 km, Run 5 km
Route maps for each stage are available to view. Organisers note that cycle routes may be subject to change because of roadworks. A secure transition area is provided for competitors; race number and bike number determine racking position, small bags or boxes are permitted, bike number must be attached and helmet visible before entering, and numbers will be checked on exit.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12. On-site parking is priced at £3 per vehicle. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
