Schützenfest Bier Dash
The Schützenfest Bier Dash is an untimed, non-competitive fun run held as part of Schützenfest at the Kolping Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The event covers a short course noted as 1K, routed through Kolping’s Biergarten and surrounding wooded grounds, with two beer stations available on course.
Staging is located behind the outdoor Pavilion Stage and follows the festival opening ceremonies. Participants must check in on event day at the front entrance to the festival, in front of the Kolping Haus Hall, to receive a wristband and racing bib.
This event is restricted to participants aged 21 and older. A valid photo ID is required for entry and for participation in the Bier Dash. Registration is accepted online only. Registration opens April 1; an early fee of $30 applies through June 1, with a higher fee of $40 from June 2 until the event. No refunds are issued and the event takes place rain or shine.
Registration fee includes Bier Dash race entrance, one free admission to Schützenfest Friday night for the participant, access to the two beer stations on course, a souvenir package described as involving Bier, a giant Servatii soft pretzel, and a celebratory German schnapps toast upon completion. All proceeds benefit charitable causes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
