Schutt's Cider Mile
Schutt's Cider Mile is a one mile off road running or walking event held on the grounds of Schutt's Apple Mill in Webster, New York. The course passes through orchard areas and includes four 4 oz cider samples spaced by quarter mile segments: drink a sample, run or walk a quarter mile, then repeat three more times. Both hard cider and regular apple cider are offered; hard cider is available only to participants 21 and over who present ID. Participants under 21 or without ID will receive apple cider.
Registration information on record shows an entry fee of $18.00, with registration opening on April 6, 2026 and closing on October 6, 2026. Event shirts are available for purchase for $14 through October 25. Wave assignments are offered in 15 minute increments with up to 60 people per wave; the organizers reserve the right to combine waves.
The site features a tasting room and a country store. Schutt's Apple Mill is a family owned business in Webster operating since 1918 and run by four generations; a cider press room was added in 2019.
