Schutt's Cider Mile
Schutt's Cider Mile is a one mile off-road event held at Schutt's Apple Mill in Webster, New York on November 7, 2026. The course runs through the orchard on private property and is marked with arrows for guidance.
Participants move through four tasting stations along the route and receive four 4 oz samples of cider during the mile. Registrants may choose either hard cider or regular apple cider; hard cider is available only to participants 21 and older with ID. Those under 21 receive regular apple cider. ID is required for anyone selecting hard cider.
Waves are assigned in 15 minute increments and each wave is capped at 60 people. Organizers reserve the right to combine waves. Shirts were offered for purchase during registration at a listed price of $14 plus tax through October 25, 2026; shirt color may change due to supply issues.
Packet pickup is offered at Fleet Feet at the Armory in Rochester on the day before the event and on race day at the venue. Parking is organized across various lots at the orchard and carpooling is suggested. There are no competitive awards listed; the event notes opportunities to visit the tasting room and country store on site after the run.
