The Schoolhouse Hustle is a community run/walk held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at CREST School, 2600 S Panther Pride Dr., Lecanto, FL. The event is part of the Education Foundation’s "Educational Fitness" month and supports the Citrus County Education Foundation. It is presented as the 13th Annual Schoolhouse Hustle and includes in-person and virtual options.

Packet pickup is available before race day at Gulf to Lake Marine & Trailers. On race day there is packet pickup and day-of registration, a Family Health Expo, a YMCA Kids Zone, Mascot Olympics, and an awards presentation.
Registration, fees and awards
Typical entry fees listed are: adults - 5K/1M $25, 10K $35; students (13-18) - 5K/1M $10, 10K $15; students 12 and under - 5K/1M $5, 10K $10. A virtual or sleep-in option is available with a listed fee of $25. CCSB employee rates are reduced.
All participants receive an event shirt and a custom finisher medal. Awards for the 10K and 5K include overall male/female, masters (40+) male/female, and medals three deep in five-year age groups from age 15 through 85+, plus youth age-group categories. The event also runs a School Spirit Contest and a Group award for organizations; winning schools receive a $1,000 grant.
