Event overview
The Scholar Sprint is a multi-event running program held in June at Argos Community Park, 560 W Walnut Street, Argos, IN 46501. The event is sponsored by Argos Dollars for Scholars to raise funds for scholarships for graduating Argos seniors. T-shirts are listed as the premium giveaway. The One Mile Fun Run awards participation medals and does not include T-shirts.

Course, logistics and services
The One Mile Fun Run uses a paved path that winds through Argos Community Park. The 5K is described as a flat out-and-back route through the Town of Argos. The 10K is described as a flat course that goes through the town and the countryside of Marshall County. Parking is available inside Argos Community Park; participants are asked to use the south park entrance from State Road 10. Water is provided on the course and at the race pavilion. Volunteers will be positioned along the route and mile markers will be used. Drinks, snacks and an awards ceremony follow the event.
Awards and special rules
First and second place medals are awarded for male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K. Age-group medals are listed for multiple ranges from 20-25 up to 76-80. The 5K Fireman’s Challenge awards a traveling trophy to the first-place fireman; participants in that challenge compete in full fireman gear, including oxygen tanks, and may receive medals based on finish.
