The Scholar Sprint is a set of running events held in Argos Community Park at 560 W Walnut Street, Argos, IN 46501. The event is presented by Argos Dollars for Scholars to raise funds for scholarships for graduating Argos seniors. The program includes multiple race distances and a special 5K Fireman’s Challenge.

Course and logistics:

• The One Mile Fun Run uses a paved path winding through Argos Community Park.
• The 5K is an out-and-back route through the Town of Argos; the 10K travels through the town and surrounding countryside.
• Parking is available inside Argos Community Park; entrants are asked to use the south park entrance from State Road 10.
• Water stations and volunteers are positioned along the 5K and 10K routes; drinks, snacks and an awards presentation follow the event.

• First and second place medals are awarded for male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K.
• Age-group medals are assigned in 5-year bands from 20-25 up to 76-80.

• T-shirt availability is tied to registration deadlines and is not guaranteed after the stated cutoff.
